Ryuta Takeuchi is a well-respected real estate expert who has worked in the industry for over 25 years. Ryuta recently joined JLL to lead the Capital Markets business in Japan where he manages a team of 60 advisors and oversees the growth of our clients' real estate strategies. He is an esteemed industry expert and regularly sought out for his knowledge and expertise, insights on market trends, and investment opportunities.​

Experience​

Ryuta has a long and impressive career history, having started with Mitsubishi Corporation back in 1996. He has worked his way through various departments, divisions, and subsidiaries of the Mitsubishi Corporation Group​

  • President and CEO of Diamond Realty Management Inc. from 2021 to 2023, managed AUM of USD8bil. through private REITs and private funds in Japan and the US​
  • Head of Executive Management and Strategy Planning Office in Urban Development Group from 2019 to 2021.​
  • Promoted to GM in 2017 and Head of Strategy Planning Office in Urban Development Division from 2017 to 2019​
  • Managing Director and CEO of MC Asset Management Europe (UK) Ltd. from 2015 to 2017​
  • Seconded to UBS Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd, launched and led the joint venture private real estate funds between UBS group and Mitsubishi Corporation as Co-CEO of UBS MC General Partner -UBS- PREMF Ltd. from 2014 to 2015​
  • Deputy General Manager of Real Estate Asset Management Department from 2013 to 2014​
  • Manager and Team Leader of Real Estate Portfolio Team in Real Estate Asset Management Department from 2012 to 2013​
