Overview and outlook on Japan’s tourism, hotel trading and investment market


Tokyo, 20 April 2012 - Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Tokyo is pleased to announce that Hotel Intelligence Japan 2012 has been released today.

 

Hotel Intelligence Japan 2012 provides an overview and outlook on Japan’s tourism, hotel trading and investment market. The series of four publications offer an overview of Japan and three key hotel markets: Tokyo, Osaka and Okinawa. The earthquake and tsunami, which occurred on March 11, 2011, and its subsequent events had a negative impact on Japan’s tourism and hotel market. Particularly, inbound visitation to Japan drastically declined in 2011. However, we have also witnessed a solid recovery of the market in the second half of 2011 with the speed of the recovery varying from market to market.
